The Life of Death

It's #FindYourSong Friday - the day for music, art, film and poetry about life, death and immortality. Here is this week’s pick:

The Life of Death by Marsha Onderstijn

This film found its way into my Facebook feed and I was moved by its power in a short five minutes. The music by Ramon de Wilde was a perfect fit. It tackles life and death in a way I hadn't considered. It is beautiful and tragic. What happens when we dare to love in the face of death? What happens when death becomes our friend? It reminds us that there are no rules about who we will love or how we will grieve. Grief is a deep and profound expression of love; the two are inextricable. In order to live fully, we must allow ourselves to feel both love and grief when they find us unexpectedly. #IgnoretheRules and #Surrender.

Do you have any creative works you would like to see featured on #FindYourSong Friday??

Please share, ask questions, leave comments, suggest topics, and tell stories! I want to hear about your moments of magic, miracles, and synchronicity.

Dare to be immortal.

Jamie
