Lee's Song

Lee Griffin has dedicated her life to taking care of children.

Lee has been helping families for more than three decades. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Dakota Wesleyan University in 1982 and her Master of Social Work from the University of Montana in 2013. For the past 24 years she has worked in child protection — investigating child abuse, providing services to children in state care, and supervising social workers.

Lee found herself on the other side of caretaking when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2016. She participated in the songwriting process to share with newly diagnosed survivors how cancer can change your life in ways she never expected. From diet to relationships, work to morning rituals, she wants you to know that your life will change.
